Meet our newest Dentist
Alayna Kucera
1. What inspired you to become a dentist?
I had the opportunity to work at McPherson Dental Care when I was in high school and was exploring careers. I immediately fell in love with the field of
dentistry and knew that I wanted to be a dentist.
2. If you were not a dentist what line of work would you have gone into?
I would have likely gone into Organizational Psychology. In my psychology classes I loved learning how to make teams and organizations more effective and
improve team satisfaction.
3. What is your favorite part of dentistry?
I love that I get to work on a team and develop relationships with my patients. I appreciate that dentistry is the intersection of my interests and strengths:
healtheare, science/technology, and yapping:)
4. Outside of the Dental Office, how do you like to spend your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My husband and I enjoy taking our dog, Theo, on walks and exploring new places. I also enjoy running, group
fitness, and reading a good book.
5. What is your favorite food or meal?
My mom's chicken noodle soup will always be one of my favorite foods. I also
would never say no to ice cream:)
6. Where would be your dream vacation destination?
I would love to tour Italy, checking out the rich history, diverse landscape, and of
course the beach.
7. What is your favorite sport and/or Sports team?
My favorite sport is soccer. I enjoy the KC Current and it is hard not to like the Chiefs. My husband is still in the process of turning me into a committed Cornhusker fan, rooting for all things University of Nebraksa as my husband has
been a lifelong fan.
