Some of our residents took a field trip to OMSI! The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry! We got to look around the facility and even got to attend a show in the planetarium! 🪐 🌟

🌈 It was the perfect rainy to sunny weather at Cornell Estates in Hillsboro today for these rainbow skewers our residents delighted in making together. It was messy work but they disappeared quick! 🍡

February is American Heart Month! To commemorate, our very own Sales' Director Amy has put together an expert panel to discuss the different ways one can maintain a good and healthy heart. "Love Your Heart", joined by guest speakers Helen Anderson and Oceana Berry, this panel will cover a multitude of topics. Residents, family, friends, and all members of the local community are invited and encouraged to attend. Event is February 18th at 2PM in our Party Room!

New year, new learnings! Cornell Estates is happy to introduce engaging weekly classes on American Sign Language, held by local volunteer Sunny! It's amazing to see our residents learn something a new way to communicate with such eagerness 🥰

Local therapy dog in training "Willow" made her first visit to our community this week. Our participating residents got some good one on one time with the beautiful Goldendoodle. She was so well-behaved! 🐾

Our Crafting and Cooking Committees are taking a tour of Italy this month, and this week we made Pasta Fagioli soup jars! Participants made them to give to loved ones, and extras were given to other members of the community! 🇮🇹 🥫

It was a pleasure to host yesterday's recital by Susan Todd. Residents and family were treated to lovely classical music played by Susan's incredibly talented students! It was a perfect start to the week of Christmas. 🎅🎶
