My name is Heather. I am a licensed massage therapist. I do massage because of my love of helping people. I was a nurse for over 20 years. Due to requirements of paperwork in nursing I was not able to care for people as I wanted. My first quarter of nursing school I wanted to change to massage therapy, but was not able to at the time. So, 20 plus years later the desire to do massage therapy was still there, so took the leap and went to school, where I graduated top of my class. my love for massage continues to grow.

Sadie was adopted in 2021 and her family lives in Guilford. She's fully vaccinated and spayed, and is very friendly and sweet.

She and the long time dog in the home are not getting along, and the family reached out after consulting with several trainers making the difficult decision to place Sadie with another family. The original rescue is not responding, so we are posting her here and Zen Dog CT will help the family screen adopters.

It’s bittersweet that I am announcing I will be going into retirement for a short time to pursue other adventures in my life. Thank you all for your support through the years. I will continue to be in the community to support your businesses as I always have as you have supported mine.

SPECIALTY FOSTER LOCAL TO CT NEEDED:

Ghost is deaf. He needs a home with experience with deaf dogs or a home with a, layoff back dog who will understand Ghost can't hear them. We have many who can help who have deaf dog experience.

Ghost is 14 months old, neutered and is a boxer mix.

My name is Ghost, why you ask they would name me Ghost other than my coat being
pure as snow, I can sneak up behind you! Bet you didn’t see that one coming!

My fosters say I’m a character and keep them laughing with my shenanigans I’m just having fun and being me. I love my foster fur siblings so much so, that when I come in to my bedroom and see them in their crates I like to dance around for them until the start barking then I go right into my crate because that was a job well done I made them happy.

I must make my foster mom happy to because I see her laughs, I just can’t hear them.

I was born deaf, eye contact and hand gestures work great on me, and I’m a fast learner of routines.

My foster mom sometimes forgets I’m deaf and will try to call out for me she must be a fast learner too after a moment she will come find me and give me the come signal which is just a simple tap on the leg.

I am very eager to play outside although at night I might bark thinking I see another dog
but it’s just my reflection in the window - Must protect my fosters silly me...

I love coming in and running to you for some love and rubs then I walk into my crate and
wait for my treat.

My fosters feed me 2x a day and although I think I eat normal my fosters got tricky on
me and started putting this maze in my bowl the first time they tried it I was like what in
the foster is this, by the third time I was on to her and flipped it out of my bowl no thank
you on your puzzle shenanigans. She was persistent though and now I just make her think she won the battle and eat with it intact.

She’s such a stickler to rules pfffttt she’s just lucky I like to follow them and be a great
boy.

I love other dogs, people of any age, I do not jump up on anyone I just like to tap
dance and play outside.

I learned if I follow all the rules I get all the treats haha who’s the smart top dog now
foster mom!!

If you love shenanigans and having a good laugh then I'm your man Come get me out of
here it's like prison up in this house. Just kidding Warden I mean foster mom. (I’m not
kidding) haha
