Divine Play Wellness grew out of the sanskrit meaning of my yogic name. Lila means: short version, “divine play”, long version - “all reality, including the cosmos, as the outcome of creative play by the divine absolute”... Either way, Fun, functional movement, helping my clients reconnect to their Essential Self & state of wellness are my focus, as well as feeling good for the long haul! The states of Divine acceptance, Love, and inner & outer connection I have found in Nature heavily inform the way I work with the bodies and souls who come to meet me.
I do my best to help people get out and stay out of pain, with the easiest most effective self care methods I have found in my 27 years as a movement & hands on professional. I may teach you MELT "hands off" bodywork and self healing techniques, shimmy around the room with you, or send you off to la-la land in deep relaxation. My sharing is informed by experience in somatic movement, as a licensed massage therapist & energy worker, and by special experiences in Nature. My modalities include the MELT Method; Myofascial Massage Therapy, Bowen, Nia Technique & the stages of developmental movement; Healing Touch & Reiki; superfood nutrition; essential oils, and various forms of yoga - Integral, vinyasa, Iyengar, Anusara, to name a few. And in case you didnt catch it, I'm in an ongoing love affair with Mother Nature - especially her water & trees!
