I voted and I hope you did, too! According to Washington County, there is still time to get assistance with getting a ballot. Here is their recent post from the local elections office:

“Despite the rain, our crew at the Ballot Will Call tent is smiling (behind their masks) and here to help registered voters who are coming by to pick up ballots they ordered. If you still need assistance with getting a ballot, it is not too late! Our Elections Office is open until 8 p.m. and the team at the front counter is ready to help you at 2925 NE Aloclek Drive, Suite 170 Hillsboro, 97124.”

Thank you, City of Hillsboro! The City is offering to split the cost of essential PPE items (disposable & cloth masks, and gloves) with Hillsboro businesses. You just need your business license info to apply online, and you can pick it up at the Civic Center, like I did today. Such a tangible way to help small businesses—putting PPE in our hands!

The City of Hillsboro’s Protective Equipment Grant program is still accepting applications if your business is in need of personal protective equipment (PPE) — such as masks, face coverings, and gloves.
