✨🌕 Full Moon is this Sunday…🌕✨
The full moon has a way of stirring things up, emotions rise to the surface, energy runs high and sleep can be illusive…anyone feeling me here?
In yoga and Vedic wisdom, the full moon is a time of illumination, what’s hidden thoughts come into light for us to look at.
✨What if you flipped the script, what if instead of it being hard it was an opportunity each month to reflect and listen. I teach moon cycles as an invitation to pause, breathe and listen. It’s not woo woo, it’s nature. An opportunity to notice what’s ready to be released, what feels too heavy to carry and where you can soften.
Here are the poses I reach for outside of normal classes to navigate the full moon -

IN,IN, OUT breathwork pattern - passionately expressing yang energy then solely balancing the YIN energy ( you remember this from class)
✨Sit quietly under the sky with a warm tea and bring a tall glass of water with you. Begin to write out all your frustrations on a small piece of paper - internally within yourself and external with the world releasing all levels of resistance, then drown the paper in your glass of water watching the ink bleed into the water, let it GO!!
Remember, you don’t need to control the tides, only learn to flow with them. 💫⚖️
