💛✨New moon - new you?
This week we honor new moon. In yoga we honor the moon cycles not as woo woo but as embodiment, our bodies respond to these rhythms, in REAL time.
😌Perhaps you’re influenced by these rhythms but just haven’t noticed?
📍In new moon you may have noticed these shifts within yourself?
💛Your body naturally dips, you feel depleted easier, a yin pause of rest is being asked for
💛The liver and kidney meridians begin to stagnate - abdominal pains, fluid retention, emotional regulation is harder, quicker temper, shorter fuse, fearful anticipatory dreams, stiff and sore lower back
💛Everything feels extra! More heightened senses overall, light, sound, touch, even home can feel too much and overstimulating
💛Your mind feels scattered and it’s hard to remember simple things, you may have even made an error with scheduling this week already?
You are not crazy and it’s not woo woo, it’s what we teach at CENTRE Yoga, it’s embodiment wisdom based on REAL science, biochemistry and mind/body medicine. It’s okay, it’s you living more connected and more grounded into your CENTRE. 💪🏻
📍Here is the good news, here is the fix:
💛Turn inward, book into a yoga class, a sauna, curl up with a book, put on gentle music and BREATHE. Honor your body by honoring the natural rhythm of LESS.
✨ Think of it as your monthly software update, it’s part of the healthy functioning of your hardware.
