We celebrated National Hug Day with a 'Free Hugs Booth' for our residents and staff!!

Did you know that human touch, especially hugs, have medicinal qualities!! Our Department Managers gave out such good medicine and had the best time doing it!!
We loved seeing so many residents and staff come get some love at the Rosewood Family Free Hugs Booth!

With hearing aids and a natural slow pace.....our residents are kinda easy to sneak up on 😂 ❤️

I love it when Curtis says "Hey kid!" because at 41.....I dont' feel much like a kid, but from his 86 year old perspective......I absolutely am. I have the best job EVER!

Our Activity Meeting in January was lovely!

We are enjoying the cooking, crafting, and music that we are doing! They also had some awesome suggestions and things we can do to make our Activity Department function better.

We have such an amazing group of residents with a wide range of interests and talents - we are so glad we get to work here with them.

We want to give a special SHOUT OUT to our Maintenance Director John - he is everywhere all the time and we are so glad he is working here with us!

A Co-worker saw his coffee cup sitting in a random hallway and sent him this reminder photo in case he was looking for it 🥰 This and many other reasons are why we come to work every day.......

Our co-workers and residents really do take care of each other like family - its a truly beautiful thing to experience and witness. Thank you, John, for all the hours of effort, thought, and care you give our residents every day - you are awesome!

One of the themes for January is ITALY - we have spent the last two weeks learning about the country, the people, the food, and the culture!

We have made Venetian Masks and Margherita Pizza in our crafting and cooking activities this week and it all culminated with our Italian Ristorante Night!

Our Activities Department turned our dining room into an Italian Restaurant complete with red/white table cloths, beautiful decor, italian music, and italian candies to greet them at the tables.

Our Kitchen made us a delicious dinner of Spaghetti & Meatballs or Chicken Marsala; with Zuppa Toscana Soup, roasted vegetables, breadsticks w/ alfredo, and Tirimasu for dessert.

Thank you to all the staff and management that helped make this beautiful evening flow so beautifully. Thank you to our wonderful residents and their families for coming and enjoying the experience - we sure love you.
