Friends of Justice C***ections

We believe we are at a tipping or turning point with launching the program.

We are close to having 3 engineers in place to support the broadcast & streaming of a weekly, Saturday morning program.

We, as well as well as the station, are convinced that we need more than volunteer engineers—to be successful, we also need a sufficient corps of persons committed, as volunteers, to producing content for the show. The stories are there, the issues are there, the voices are there. Do we have enough intellectual, emotional, and personal-scheduling commitment to produce a Saturday morning, weekly radio community forum on our legal justice system from studios in Hillsborough?

We believe this is a decision that should and must involve more than just Judy, Larry, Louis & Melissa, who have been shepherding our own schedules through the summer for learning & practice programming.

We would like to schedule a conversation among as many of us as possible for a Zoom conversation Tuesday evening 7:00 pm October 5. The topic on the table: do we have the necessary volunteer resources to produce the show as currently conceived and consistent with the required parameters of the station?

Please join in our larger conversation at that time. If you cannot meet at that time, please send along any ideas or concerns or hopes or commitments to the larger group here, or directly to me, for sharing and reflection on Tuesday October 5.
