Our newest resident, Sally, who was the former Miss New Jersey State Traveling Companion for several Miss New Jersey's, visited Brookdale Hillsborough this week. A special Miss America/Miss New Jersey presentation was given by Paul who was surprised to see our special visitors. Sally has already become one of Brookdale Hillsborough's Ambassadors and has brought smiles and laughter to many of us with her amazing personality. Brookdale Hillsborough residents wanted to meet new friends, so we boarded our bus for one of our sister communities, Brookdale Florence. We were warmly welcomed by residents and staff with an amazing 5-star luncheon, rockin' entertainment, trivia challenge (which we won't mention who WON), and a special card game which was created by one of our Brookdale Hillsborough residents. It was a day to remember, and due to this month being "Friendship Is Ageless" Month, we wanted to share that Brookdale Florence will be visiting us at Brookdale Hillsborough for another special day.

Residents of Brookdale Hillsborough enjoyed a day at our local park Ann Van Middleworth. Michelle prepared a picnic lunch with homemade macaroni salad, heroes, wraps and more. As you can see, Dolores even decided to take advantage of the swings. And to top the day off, Patricia was able to feed the local geese hanging out by the pond. A 4th of July to remember!
