We have a standing order to get COVID vaccines in arms without the hurdle of a prescription requirement!! Now anyone 65+ or those 18-64 with qualifying conditions can walk into the pharmacy and get their covid vaccine. We have plenty in stock as well as tons of flu shots. We offer walk-ins Mon thru Friday 9am to 5pm. Come and get them!

Covid vaccine updates: Pharmacists' authority to order and administer vaccines is regulated on a state-by-state basis. In NC, that authority is tied to an ACIP recommendation. ACIP isn't scheduled to meet until Sept. 18-19, with no indication that COVID vaccines are on the agenda. While we wait for that meeting and ruling, we can only give Covid vaccines to those 18+ years old who meet FDA criteria AND with a prescription.
Some states have successfully changed laws, rules, and statewide protocols or issued executive orders to ensure patients can access COVID-19 vaccines through pharmacies. We would like that to happen in NC too but it takes YOU contacting your state legislature reps to ask Governor Josh Stein to issue a temporary executive order to allow NC pharmacies to give Covid vaccines without being tied to ACIP recommendations. This will save pharmacies and provider offices much needed time during the busy respiratory season as well as allow for timely vaccination for those who qualify and want the vaccine.
