Invision serves people of all ages with sensory impairments that impact learning, activities of daily living, and mobility. We help our clients build skills, achieve their defined goals, and move toward greater independence. Our mission is to help children and adults with sensory impairments learn, function, and move as successfully and independently as possible in their homes, schools, and communities.

Invision Services is hiring a Full-Time Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments to serve students in North Carolina.

Applicants must have a NC Continuing Teaching License in the area of Visual Impairments (K-12) and at least 4 years of experience as a TVI.

Did you know North Carolina updated their White Cane Law to take effect on December 1, 2026, by adding consequences for failing to yield to a person using a white cane?

The new verbiage says, "Any person who fails to yield the right-of-way to a blind or partially blind pedestrian as required by this section is guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor."

We are looking for Orientation & Mobility Specialists and North Carolina Certified Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments to serve students in the Western, Northeastern, and Triangle areas of North Carolina.

The park service did a great job of having braille, high-contrast maps, and a 3D Model.
