Daina brings us over twelve years of five-star spa experience and is happy to be part of restorative work we do here. Daina came to the healing arts through her need to learn self-care while working abroad as a dental hygienist. Massage therapy, dance, and yoga connected her with a like-minded community in North Carolina in the mid-1990s. Daina completed her Yoga Teacher Training (RYT-200) in 2004. Yoga and her Hawaiian healing bodywork (Lomi Lomi) studies since 2009 have sustained her body, mind, and spirit and continue to be a strong part of her personal practice.

Daina offers slow and stable touch. Her work draws on her experience with integrative reflexology and senior spa for the homebound and is influenced by Ayurvedic teachings and grounded with Esalen Massage techniques. She believes we need to practice what we preach: slow is real, and we’ll get there together.
