Great Brook EMS has officially begun our Paramedic Interfacility Transfer program (PIFT). After months of training and organization we finally obtained our approval from the state Bureau of EMS and have begun PIFT transfers this past week. This comprehensive EMT course prepares students to become entry-level Emergency Medical Technicians, following national and state standards. You’ll gain the knowledge, hands-on skills, and confidence needed to provide emergency medical care in real-world situations. The program combines an interactive online learning platform with in-person classroom and lab sessions, culminating in a final practical exam—all included with tuition.

Great Brook EMS wants to congratulate our very own Ethan Smith for completing his AEMT course and passing his NREMT. Ethan has been a dedicated employee with Great Brook EMS for many years obtaining employment right from high school when he graduated from Great Brook Academy and obtained his EMT. He has completed college and now obtained his NH license to practice at the advanced level becoming an ALS provider with us. Congratulations to the Fall 2025 EMT graduating class from Great Brook Academy! 🎉

Over the past three months, these students put in an incredible amount of hard work and dedication. From engaging classroom discussions and hands-on activities to learning from outstanding guest speakers—including our Trauma Rama chef, attorney Dirk Diggler during medical legal class, and Napoleon’s chief surgeon Dominic Larrey, who taught everything you ever wanted (and maybe didn’t want) to know about cravats—this class embraced every challenge.

They also rose to the occasion during intense, real-world scenarios in our simulation lab, “Main Street,” consistently demonstrating skill, teamwork, and professionalism.

We are proud of each of you for stepping up and proving you have what it takes to be EMS providers. Best of luck as you move forward in your EMS careers!

Great Brook EMS would like to thank all of our employees which includes providers, buildings and grounds, vehicle maintenance, dispatchers, admin support staff, and immediate family members for all of their hard work and support over this last year. Great Brook EMS has grown so much since we started in 2010 and we look forward to continued success working with these outstanding professionals. We celebrated with our annual holiday party recently.
