The fall season is here and if your looking to start a new career or to become a vital part of your community, now is the time. Great Brook Academy is offering its next EMT certification course starting on September 22nd and running through December 13th, 2025. Online registration is now open. Looking for a job while you obtain your certification. Great Brook EMS has paid APPRENTICSHIP positions open. Those who are enrolled in the EMT program have the opportunity to apply and be hired on as a part time employee and be paid while you obtain your certification. The EMT Course at Great Brook Academy beginning 9/23/25 and running through 12/11/25 online registration is NOW OPEN.
The course is a 12-week program. It will meet every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6pm to 10pm at our classroom and training center location at 286 Henniker Street Hillsborough, NH. It will also include every other Saturday from 9am to 4:30pm.
Course tuition is $1,750.00 per student and includes access to the online learning management system, electronic student textbook, in-person skills lab sessions, and student gear with program shirt. SPACE IS LIMITED. Veteran discounts available.

Great Brook EMS and Great Brook Academy hosted a lifting and moving review as well as 12 lead and cardiac monitor training for EMS providers at our training center in Hillsborough. Our staff also enjoyed a BBQ on the grill diner to accompany the training. Thank you to those who attended and to LuAnne Gomez for being a chief cook and bottle washer! Great Brook EMS had a busy week with motocross last week. All tracks were running with practices and races. We did have a riding accident in which we had to transport a patient by helicopter. I want to thank the NHMX track staff, Lempster Fire Department, DHART, and an on-site EMT who was willing to help provide care and support to the patient. All of these people and agencies worked seamlessly to make sure that the right patient got to the right hospital for care. All of us at Great Brook EMS wish a speedy recovery to the patient.

This month we offered our Medical Assessment, Beyond the Basics for EMS providers. A well attended class and lots of hands on breakout and student interaction.
