Great Brook Academy EMT students being put through their paces during their lifting and moving class. Students were given a patient who was deep in the woods and required to extricate them as a team with the stokes litter. A great ending to the day. Great job by all of the students. Great Brook Academy believes in providing hands on experiential learning. It does not matter the weather, our students will be learning how to become the best EMS providers they can.

Recently Thomas Norton, the new Catholic Medical Center EMS Coordinator participated in a ride a long with Great Brook EMS for the day. After months of training and organization we finally obtained our approval from the state Bureau of EMS and have begun PIFT transfers this past week.
