What a busy week we had! Last Wednesday evening students from Hillsdale College Adopt a Grandparent program joined us for a Valentine Bingo & Cookies party. They brought a beautiful red rose for each player. On Thursday we held the HCMCF winter Olympics. We started with synchronized scarf waving to the Olympic Theme, then our own kind of Curling, Snow Volleyball and of course a giant snowball fight. Some real snow was brought in and a little snow man appeared. What a fun afternoon.

Today we painted using anything but a brush! What a great time we had. We used flowers, luffas, pop bottles, sponges, a hair brush, beads, textured mits, feathers and more. We experimented with different colors and textures and discussed how no two were alike and all are beautiful art. Our folks love to paint and we are already planning the next creation!
