March Madness is not just for Basketball! At HCMCF we are playing March Bingo Madness with different themed prizes each game. Today’s special guests were students from Hillsdale College who are doing mission projects while on spring break this week. The residents had a great time visiting and enjoyed the students very much! Today’s theme was “Let the Cat out of the Bag Bingo”! Players called out “Meow” instead of Bingo and the prizes were nylon cat bags with stuffed cats in them. Big cats, little cats, black, gray, yellow, tiger & Siamese cats, each one was different. All were surprised and laughed at which cat they had won as they let the cat out of the bag! Thank you students, what a fun afternoon!

What a busy week we had! Last Wednesday evening students from Hillsdale College Adopt a Grandparent program joined us for a Valentine Bingo & Cookies party. They brought a beautiful red rose for each player. On Thursday we held the HCMCF winter Olympics. We started with synchronized scarf waving to the Olympic Theme, then our own kind of Curling, Snow Volleyball and of course a giant snowball fight. Some real snow was brought in and a little snow man appeared. What a fun afternoon.
