What is Regenerative Medicine?
Regenerative therapy is a branch of medicine that aims to restore or replace damaged tissues and organs by utilizing the body's own healing mechanisms. Unlike traditional pain management approaches that primarily focus on symptom relief, regenerative therapies target the underlying causes of pain, promoting long-term healing and recovery. Current regenerative medicine practices address many foot and ankle conditions and needs, such as: Arthritis, Cartilage Damage, ligament and Muscle injuries, Osteoarthritis, Plantar Fasciitis, Tendinopathies, Tendon Tears and Wound Healing.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injection
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is your own blood that has been modified so that it has extra platelets (blood cells that help with blood clotting). PRP helps the healing of soft tissue and bone by regeneration of damaged cells. PRP injections are useful in the treatment of nerve, tendon, osteoarthritis, and bone injuries.

Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-intensity acoustic shock waves. The handheld probe is placed against the skin to deliver pulses of sound waves to the injured tissue. These sounds waves stimulate blood flow, break up scar tissue, and promote healing. The controlled micro-trauma created by the shockwaves encourages tissue regeneration.

Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy is an excellent non-surgical option for progressive and chronic foot and toe pain. Dr. Rohacz has treated most patient success cases using Prolotherapy for a variety of foot pain including bunions, Morton’s neuroma, plantar fasciitis, osteoarthritis, turf toe, and more. What these conditions all have in common is that they are most often the result of ligament laxity and joint instability. Prolotherapy is the regenerative injection treatment that specifically targets weakened ligaments in the foot. When the ligaments are strengthened, the joints become stabilized, and the symptoms are alleviated.

Traumeel Injection
Traumeel injections are homeopathic treatments, meaning the medicinal agent is completely derived from minerals found in nature. Because the solution is mostly plant based, there are little to no side effects, including allergic reactions which are extremely rare. The absence of other effects makes Traumeel an anti-inflammatory treatment that can be used as often as necessary.

Vitamin B12 Injections
Vitamin B12 may help to treat neuropathy in some people, especially if they have a deficiency of this vitamin. Neuropathy is a condition in which nerve damage causes tingling, numbness or burning sensations in the lower extremities. Vitamin B12 can help maintain nerve function and prevent further damage. Injections of Vitamin B12 may ease symptoms of neuropathy, as they play an essential role in nerve health, metabolism, and sensory perception.

Red Light Therapy
Red light therapy, also known as low-level light therapy or photo biomodulation, involves the use of specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular activity and promote healing in the body. When applied to the feet, red light therapy targets the affected nerve cells, aiming to reduce pain and improve nerve function.
