January is Firefighter Cancer Awareness Month.

Firefighters face unique occupational risks, and studies show they are 65% more likely to develop cancer than the general population due to repeated exposure to carcinogens on the job. Here at Kissimmee Fire, protecting our firefighters’ health is just as important as protecting our community.

If you or someone you know needs more support, please visit:

FCSN helps firefighters, EMS professionals, and their families cope with cancer. It is our goal to provide occupational-cancer awareness, prevention training, and support for those dealing with cancer nationwide. Join the fight today to educate, support, and make a difference.
