Hilo Medical Center Foundation

Hilo Medical Center Foundation The Hilo Benioff Medical Center Foundation serves as the Hawai’i Island Area Health Education Center (AHEC). The Foundation has three full time staff.

It is comprised of 30 board members who are community leaders and individual volunteers. Current Educational support of House Bill 2368 to appropriate funds to the Hilo Residency Program

Upcoming Projects the Foundation will be working on for the hospital and community:
-Renovation of the second shower in the Long Term Care Facility
-Refurbishing the Obstetric and Pediatric Units of Hilo Medical Center.
