For the keen observer, you can spy with your little eye- gotu kola!

What a treat to have this amazing herb growing on site at work. Every rotation of clients in the program will get an experiential treat with this herb. Reviewing the monograph of it's actions, uses, dosing, and safety. And then we get to take a walk in the forest to pick a handful and do a meditation with it.

This herb is known as the meditators herb!

Aloha!

Been awhile! Life gets busy like that, and I wasn't drawn to posting much about anything.

Still not sure how I really want to use this app, I guess we'll all see how it goes. But I will try to bring education, wellness tips, talk about some fun products or researches I've been able to stumble on, and some sharing from my personal life.

As a catch up, I'm a Naturopathic Doctor and the medical director for a rehab on the Big Island. I've been at this job for 5 years and, and I've been a doctor for almost a decade now! It's pretty wild doing detox and rehab care and it was a steep learning curve. I'm glad I'm doing what I'm doing because a lot of people need a lot of help! Bringing in the holistic care to this group feels very impactful.

When I'm not working I'm with my wife and son as much as can be. We got land we are trying to make our sustainable homestead, and that is quite a challenge but very fulfilling when we do get some crops and fruits from our efforts.

All in all life is a lovely trip so far and I feel like I'm living the dream!
