I am so grateful to be living the life I have always wanted, but it wasn’t always that way.
Back in 2005, I was a married mother of two, living in lovely house with (literally) a white picket fence on the outskirts of Honolulu, when I was stunned to learn that my husband was having an affair.
And...not only was I losing my partner, I was losing my home, my family, and my job taking care of it all.
What I wanted more than anything was to have my old life back, but instead I was going back to work after 18 years of working at home.
On New Year’s Day 8 years later, I was still alone, struggling at work, and feeling sorry for myself. I had tried many things that helped, but nothing really gave me the results I wanted. I wrote on a slip of paper, “I crack the code.” I really wanted to know why I couldn’t pull it together and have the life I really wanted to live?
Soon after I picked up a book called, The Language of Emotions, and that was my turning point. In a flash, I realized that I had a dysfunctional relationship with my emotions and that was the root cause of my ineffectiveness.
However, if you’ve been shamed for your emotions and overwhelmed by them, it’s no easy task to embrace them. But, through my training in education and psychology, I created a unique program that I used to turn my life around, then I began to share it with others.
Like Gloria, a nurse, who loved alternative health practices, but who worked part time in an elder care home, because she couldn’t handle the stress of full time work and workplace politics. She also had a strained relationships with her kids. Now Grace has her own private health practice, earning way more money and working less hours. She has a more trusting and respectful relationship with her kids, and she is dating!
As for me my life is rich in relationships, and fulfilling work.
That's why I'm so passionate about helping women tap into the wisdom of their emotions so that they can create their own happily ever after. Because if you know anyone who’s lost everything they’ve worked so hard for, you know how challenging that can be.
