Jen Brewer is an E-RYT 500 based in Hilton Head SC. She received her RYT-200 in 2012 from Asheville Community Yoga in Asheville NC, and her 500-RYT from Subtle Yoga in Charlotte NC, with an emphasis on yoga therapeutics. She uses the Viniyoga method, not just for physical limitations, or chronic conditions, but mental health tools for anxiety, depression and addiction.
Jen trained in Yin Yoga with Shala Worsley in Asheville NC, yoga as a tool during the menopause transition with Kaoveri Weber, founder of Subtle Yoga, and creative sequencing with Bonnie Weeks in Portland Oregon.
Jen teaches group classes at Jiva Yoga, Peak Performance Fitness, and The Yoga & Pilates Co-op. She also teaches on our local beaches for resorts and private communities. All of her classes, from Chair to heated Power Flow, include breath awareness, connection, and humor. She aims to use the system of yoga, beyond the asana, to provide insight and inspiration in creating peace and purpose off the mat.

In Jen's own life, the practice and study of yoga has provided empowerment over anger and depression, connection with the human spirit, and an appreciation for the strength and grace within us all.
From personal experience, her classes always leave me feeling more clear and at peace. Jen has that effect on people. Her classes are also for all skill levels and really capture the essence of mindfulness.
