I’m often asked how to choose the right session length, and it really comes down to what you’d like to focus on during your massage.

60 minutes: A great choice for a full-body massage or if you have one or two areas that need extra attention.

90 minutes: Perfect if you’d like a slower-paced, more detailed session or have several areas that need focused work.

Every massage is customized to your goals and how your body feels that day. I hope this helps you decide what will best support your next session!

A little over a week ago, I went to Chicago for a 16 hour continuing education class. It was such a blast! In my 13 years of being licensed, this was by far my favorite class. I was able to start integrating some of the techniques we learned right away & love it! Side note, of course I had to have him sign the book he wrote!

For those who have followed with me on process of The Village Of Hinckley creating a Massage Establishment Ordinance - I have news!

After attending & speaking at 3 meetings, the ordinance was unanimously passed WITH ALL FEES REMOVED. I am but one person - but I’m happy to know I can make a difference. This not only enables my business to remain here & thrive, but also will give new business owners a chance to succeed if they choose to come to Hinckley.

Thank you to all who came to show support, & to those who emailed their thoughts to the Village President to share with the Board.

**History for those who don’t know. There was a proposed ordinance. I am in full support of one, as I have already followed all guidelines for the 10+ years I’ve been in business. The problem, was that they were choosing to propose EXCESSIVE fees, that are far above what I already pay to the State Of IL (IDFPR) to be licensed. And far above what surrounding towns have set. I did a lot of legwork & research confirming ordinances of surrounding towns & was able to present facts to the Village Board that these fees made no sense. Not only that, but was able to express that being singled out of the multiple businesses in town also regulated by the IDPR felt punitive & unnecessary, when I am an upstanding business in town. At the end of it all, I felt seen, heard, and understood, and the revision of the ordinance eliminated fees.
