Hines VA Hospital Hines VA Hospital is the largest VA in Illinois. We provide quality care to our nation's heroes. Edward Hines, Jr.

VA Hospital is located 12 miles west of downtown Chicago on a 147-acre campus. The Hospital offers primary, extended and specialty care to Veterans who primarily live in Cook, DuPage and Will Counties in Illinois. Hines Specialized clinical programs at the hospital include Blind Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury, Neurosurgery, Radiation Therapy and Cardiovascular Surgery. Hines is authorized to o

perate close to 500 inpatient beds, including 199 nursing home beds. The Hospital also runs six community based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) in Manteno, Hoffman Estates, Oak Lawn, Aurora, LaSalle, and Joliet.
