✨Kiwanis is currently raising funds through its Jail & Bail fundraiser to support the installation of inclusive playground equipment in our community.

This initiative directly aligns with Liberty Regional Medical Center’s Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) priority of mental health. Research shows that safe, inclusive play environments help reduce stress, enhance emotional well-being, and support healthy childhood development. An accessible playground benefits not only children with disabilities, but all families in our community.

We are seeking donations to help reach the $1,000 “bail” goal. Every contribution brings us one step closer to creating a space where all children can play, grow, and thrive together. Please consider making a donation and sharing this message within your network to help expand our impact.

Liberty Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that we have successfully maintained our Level IV Trauma Center designation through the Georgia Department of Public Health and the Office of EMS and Trauma.

LRMC remains one of only eight hospitals in Georgia with this designation, ensuring patients receive rapid evaluation, advanced trauma life support, and stabilization before transfer to higher-level trauma centers when needed.

This important achievement reflects the dedication of our physicians, nurses, EMS partners, first responders, and hospital staff who work together every day to provide lifesaving care to our community.
Our trauma program is led by Dr. Christina McCain, Trauma Medical Director, and Tammie Russell, Trauma Program Coordinator, whose leadership helps ensure our hospital remains ready to respond when emergencies occur.

Located along Interstate 95 and serving Liberty and surrounding counties, LRMC plays a critical role in stabilizing trauma patients and coordinating care when every moment counts.

👏 We are incredibly proud of our team and grateful for our strong partnerships with Liberty County EMS, local fire departments, law enforcement, and first responders who help make this lifesaving care possible.
Your community hospital. Your trauma care. Right when you need it most.
