✨Meet Our Directors Spotlight ✨
As part of our Meet Our Directors campaign, we are proud to highlight Heather Daniels, RN, Director of Perinatal Services at Liberty Regional Medical Center.
Heather Daniels, RN, serves as the Director of Perinatal Services at Liberty Regional Medical Center, where she leads the hospital’s Labor & Delivery and Nursery teams. With a strong passion for women’s health and maternal care, Heather is dedicated to ensuring families in our community receive safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care during one of life’s most important moments.
Heather began her nursing career in the Medical-Surgical unit before transitioning into Labor & Delivery and later the Nursery, gaining extensive experience in both maternal and neonatal care. Her diverse clinical background has provided her with a well-rounded perspective on patient care, team leadership, and the importance of strong support systems for mothers and newborns.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University and maintains professional certifications in NRP, ACLS, and BLS.
Heather is also deeply involved in advancing maternal health beyond the hospital setting. She is a co-founder of the Mom Heart Matters Program; an initiative focused on raising awareness about maternal heart health and currently serves as Secretary of the Georgia Perinatal Association.
In recognition of her dedication to patient care and community impact, Heather was honored with the 2025 Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) Hospital Hero Award. 🏆
Through her leadership, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to excellence, Heather Daniels continues to strengthen perinatal care while championing healthier outcomes for mothers, babies, and families across our region. Liberty Regional Medical Center is proud to have leaders like Heather whose passion, expertise, and dedication are helping shape the future of maternal and infant care in our community.
