Liberty Regional Medical Center is proud to offer the Mom’s Heart Matters program, a comprehensive postpartum support initiative designed to improve maternal heart health and reduce complications after delivery. The program follows moms for up to one year postpartum, offering education, resources, and real-time monitoring to help keep mothers healthy and supported.

We’re also proud to recognize Heather Daniels, 2025 GHA Hospital Hero Award Winner, for her leadership and dedication to advancing maternal health in our community.

Liberty Regional Medical Center is honored to announce that Heather Daniels, R.N., B.S.N., Director of Perinatal Services, has been named a Hospital Hero by the Georgia Hospital Association — a prestigious statewide recognition awarded to only three healthcare professionals in Georgia this year.

Heather was recognized at the GHA Annual Trustee Conference for her outstanding leadership and dedication to improving maternal and infant health outcomes, especially her work addressing hypertension-related maternal mortality among underserved women.

Liberty Regional Medical Center is currently in search of a RN Nurse Educator. Reporting to the Compliance Officer, this role is responsible for promoting the development and educational activities of both clinical and non-clinical staff. This will be done in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards and the organization's policies and procedures.

🩺 Job Qualifications: 🩺
• Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of a Registered Professional Nursing Program. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

• Formal Training: Clinical competence in advanced nursing skills required.

• Licensure, Certifications & Registration: Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia; BLS Instructor, ACLS Instructor and PALS Instructor certification required. BTLS Instructor and NRP Instructor certifications preferred.

• Work Experience: Work Experience: Basic management skills with experience in planning, organizing, implementing, facilitating, interviewing, counseling and verbal and written communications. Advanced skills in adult learning principles. Intermediate knowledge of accreditation standards. Intermediate computer skills with word processing and spreadsheet capabilities. Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in a hospital setting required.
