Showing up for families when it matters most. 🤍 We were proud to join the Long County community for the annual Community Baby Shower, supporting new and expecting parents with resources, education, and a whole lot of care.

This year’s event also highlighted the importance of maternal health through Mom’s Heart Matters, a program focused on raising awareness around heart health during and after pregnancy, ensuring moms have the knowledge and support they need every step of the way.

From health screenings and safety checks to connecting families with local services, events like these are a reminder that strong communities start with strong support systems.
Because when families are cared for, our entire community is stronger.

One year of healing. One year of hope. This month, we’re proud to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Liberty Regional Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center, a service brought to our community with one goal in mind, helping patients heal.

Over the past year, our team has cared for patients facing chronic and complex wounds, providing advanced treatment options and personalized care plans designed to restore health and improve quality of life. From diabetic ulcers and surgical wounds to burns and radiation injuries, every case is met with expertise, compassion, and a commitment to better outcomes.

Because healing isn’t just about treatment. It’s about giving people their life back.
What once required travel outside our community is now available right here at home, bringing comfort, convenience, and care closer to those who need it most.

Investing in care. Strengthening our community. We’re proud to recognize Ameris Bank for their generous $500,000 contribution to Liberty Regional Medical Center through the Georgia HEART Hospital Program.

Support like this plays a vital role in expanding access to quality healthcare right here at home, helping us enhance services, invest in technology, and continue delivering the level of care our community deserves. Because when local partners step up, the impact is felt far beyond our walls.

Did you know? Through the Georgia HEART program, Georgia taxpayers can redirect their state income taxes to support rural hospitals like LRMC, receiving a 100% state tax credit in return.

Contribution limits (Jan 1 through June 30):
Individuals: up to $5,000
Married filing jointly: up to $10,000
Pass through entities: up to $25,000
C Corporations: up to 75% of Georgia tax liability

After June 30, contributions may be unlimited while credits remain available.

At Liberty Regional Medical Center, our laboratory performs more than 200 types of tests. From routine screenings like flu and pregnancy tests to complex women’s health testing and blood compatibility services, we are here for you!

With recent advancements, including 16 new tests and faster turnaround times for critical results, our lab team continues to strengthen the care we provide every day. In fact, nearly 83% of medical diagnoses rely on lab results.

From identifying patients with specific blood needs to supporting timely, accurate care, this close-knit team plays a vital role in our hospital and our community.
