Nourish by V

Nourish by V Welcome to Nourish by V. I am Veronika, but call me "V". I am a Yoga Teacher and a Sound Healer.🕉🫶

Due to my cervical scares early in my thirties, I have decided that something had to change. Over the last few years, I’ve become more and more passionate about food, yoga, sound healing and wellbeing in general and how a blend of all can help you heal and look after your mind, body, and soul. I didn’t have a helping hand to guide me out of the place where I was punishing my body to show me a way of nourishing myself and finding that self-acceptance, but I don’t want anyone to have to go through that alone, so that’s what I do now, I help people live happier, healthier lives by helping them nourish themselves through food, gentle exercise, and wellbeing. I am teaching yoga classes, hosting yoga retreats and sound healing workshops across Newbury, Hermitage, Wasing, Highclere. My goal is clear, I would like to help you with your physical and mental wellbeing, so come and join me on the mat and BE PRESENT for yourself. ✨️This week felt so much lighter✨️

Honestly, if you had seen me the last few weeks, I was like a walking zombie, my energy has gone, and my spark has gone - I was really worrying that I won't come back to myself and get into the state of deep dark place. But, this week, I felt like ME again, and I am hoping for better days ahead (despite all the madness in the world, we need to find our own inner peace).

So many magical things happened, and my heart filled with love and so much gratitude - thank you for all the love, care, support, and genuinely encouraging me to keep going. I very much know that days/weeks can change very quickly. Hence, I will hold onto this magical feeling for as long as I can.

Inner peace is something we will be practising more of in this week's yoga classes in Newbury, Highclere, Beedon and Hermitage👇

✨️Today, I have delivered my first corporate crystal bowl sound healing, breathwork, and yoga nidra of 2026 at Stryker in Newbury.✨️

It was so wonderful to see so many people willing to try something different before their full day of strategy and planning for 2026.

We started our morning with a simple diaphragm breathing, then I settled everyone with yoga nidra before we fully settled into the magic of Crystal bowl sound healing - empowering crystalline energy of vibrations and frequencies.

Setting an intention and finding a space of calm within is so important, as your brain waves need a full reset and recharge.

If you are planning a corporate day, in person or online, I am happy to help with yoga, breathwork, crystal bowl sound healing, meditation, and more. I am very happy to help you create something magical for your wonderful staff and help them to catch some breath.

My email is hello@nourishbyv.com, and my website is www.nourishbyv.com for your reference.

I am here to help. ✨️😊

Sending love,

✨️This is Us✨️

(THIS POST IS VULNERABLE AND NOT FOR EVERYONE, SO FEEL FREE TO SKIP IT IF YOU CAN'T SEE A HOSPITAL PICS)

Remember: None of us is invincible.

In sickness and health - to so many, this is just a vow at your wedding, but to us, it's a testament to our marriage.

This week has been one big adjustment for me/us once again. I won't sit here and say that it wasn't tough, it really was and continues to be. My sleep rocketed, my anxiety increased, all the worries and stress since the phone call on 30th Dec (whilst I was in Czech) from my husband, saying; "I quite badly burnt my knees and I need a hospital treatment". So, panicking flying back to the UK on 31st Dec to understand what is going on and coming to the unknown was tough. When I arrived, he wasn't home, he was in the hospital waiting to see what they will do.

On Monday, this week - my husband had to have his operation, getting a skin graft to hopefully get his knees back together. It was really tough for me to see him in the hospital again, so vulnerable. It was a long day for us both. Hospitals bring a lot of trauma to me (I know they are important), but the memories of my best friend who passed, my husband being hospitalised (now twice), it's just a lot for me. Though, I am grateful to NHS for looking after him once again even so that so many are still waiting on all sorts of treatments.🥺

It's tough seeing your loved one in pain and all because of our kitchen refurbishment, which has gone completely out of plan because of so many problems. Then, to top it all off a week ago, we had a leak from the ceiling, as our bathroom pipe burst (luckily,we were at home). 🤦‍♀️

The message in all of this is that none of us is invincible. None of us know what is around the corner and how it impacts us. Life is precious, I know, I keep saying this a lot, but it really is. Ensure that you have life insurance in place, as well as income protection - don't put it off, you will never know when you will need it.

To you all who have been there for us this week - just THANK YOU. The messages, calls, offers to help with anything - it meant to world to us. (more in comments)👇

✨️THANK YOU✨️

All I want to say is a big thank you. I am so grateful for this community, all the love, care, and support you have shown me recently and in the past.

The last few days have been challenging and had a huge toll on me mentally, but I keep going.

When you see a loved one in pain, it's so difficult. Hospitals bring a lot of trauma back into my body and mind.

Not the start of 2026, I was hoping for, but I will do everything in my power to keep going and focusing on the plans I have for Nourish by V.

Life isn't sunshine and rainbow all the time, and if you are after a real world, then you can find it here. If you are after a fantasy, this place may not be for you.

Live this precious life, as none of us is invincible.

I am hoping to be back to my dancing soon, but this year, I promised to myself to get my spark back, heal, and create more joy in this life.

I am sending love to you all.

✨️December 2025 Memories - magical moments, as well as plenty of tears.✨️

Thank you for all the love and support on my last post about my grief journey and how difficult it's been this year for me to navigate through. A lot of people may not be able to understand, and yet so many do, so thank you.

December for me has been a month where I wrapped up and closed a chapter to open a new one. Who knows where this chapter takes me, but I am hoping somewhere magical.

This month, so many things have gone wrong on the top of the kitchen renovation in our wonky cottage. It kind of felt that everything I touched was one big mess, so I had to step away from a few things.

But at the same time, I did a few things which I love:

✨️I delivered the last few sound healing and yoga nidra workshops of 2025 and taught my lovely classes, and I just loved every minute. A HUGE GRATITUDE in my ❤️.

✨️I enjoyed yummy coffee at
and .

✨️After my car broke down, hubby took me for breakfast at to cheer me up.

✨️I nurtured my mind and body through ecstatic dance by and restorative yoga evening by .

✨️We have eaten some wonderful food at and

✨️Hubby and I spent quality time together, just what we needed with the chaos of restoration of the kitchen in our wonky cottage. Hubby works so hard. 🥺

✨️I finally started welcoming beautiful souls for Access Bars in my beautiful cabin, and I can't wait to bring you more info 2026.

✨️More training in yoga nidra by the wonderful .wadsten and

✨️Nature and its magic have been wonderful. And I am grateful for every sunrise and sunset.

✨️Booking a last-minute trip to see my family meant everything to me. They are my medicine and my reset.

Life is never straight forward, it can get tough sometimes, but it's magical at the same time.

Enjoy the precious moments to create the special memories. We never know where life takes us.

Last few days of 2025 and soon to welcome 2026.

Sending love to you all.

🩶Grief is one of the toughest feelings I have ever felt.🩶

I won't lie. This year, I found it very difficult when it comes to my own grieving journey. Even so, I showed up for my students, I really struggled, and many people won't know this. Some days, I found it so hard that it meant that I distanced myself from a lot of people around me and felt extremely lonely in this enormous pain I feel.

I thought that by overworking, I could suppress these feelings and emotions, but I was so far from it. I ended up with burnout and an overload of these feelings and emotions.

Another Christmas without you and our traditions, and I just feel so empty without you around. But the love I have for you will never go away - NEVER.

I can't explain why Grief makes you feel the way it does, and sometimes, it shows up unexpectedly, but what I learnt is that you need to let it do its thing and give yourself time and space to roll with it all even that it's so painful - not to suppress it like I tried.

This is a time of year when I know that grief shows up more for so many of us, and it's a reminder of this massive love we have for the loved ones who are no longer here. But, they are still here in their spirit - I talked to Deni last night, and she told me to live so she can live through me.

I have decided to seek help and get bereavement counselling next year and focus so much more on myself and the connections that I felt so disconnected from.

So when you sit around the Christmas table, reflect and be grateful for the people around the table and remember the ones who are there in spirit.

I am thinking of you all and sending you so much love if you are going through the tough journey, which is grief.

Hi everyone, welcome to my page ‘Nourish Kitchen by V’!!

This page is here to help you cook delicious, nourishing meals, exercise in a gentle way that works for YOU and make your wellbeing a priority. It’s all about nourishing (not punishing) your body.

We are a chatty, supportive community where I share my pointers on nourishing your body. I also encourage everyone in the group to share their tips and ideas and get involved in the conversation.

A little about me, my name is Veronika aka “V”. Originally from Czech, I’ve been living in the UK for almost 14 years now. I’ve always been passionate about food and baking but in the last few years my eating habits have changed following some struggles with my health.
