What began in 1970 as Autism Awareness Month has grown into something more meaningful, Autism Acceptance Month, shifting the focus beyond awareness to real action. It’s about removing barriers so autistic people can live, work, and belong as their authentic selves, without pressure to change who they are.

We’re excited to introduce a new edition of our Storytime Yoga for ages 10–14 🧘‍♀️📚

This 4-week program is led by certified yoga instructor Crisaliz Diaz, owner of Mindful Little Ones Yoga 🌈 Classes will take place Monday evenings at 4pm from 5/11/2026 through 6/8/2026. The cost is $50 for the full 4-week program.

Each session is designed to help participants strengthen focus, build confidence, explore creativity, and develop body awareness, all while supporting emotional regulation and relaxation in a safe, welcoming space 💫

April is Autism Acceptance Month 💙✨ A time to celebrate, support, and uplift autistic individuals by focusing on understanding, inclusion, and true acceptance.

Our Autism Supports Department has been busy creating fun, welcoming, and engaging events all month long, and we’d love for you to be part of it! 🎉 Join us for a sensory-friendly movie experience on April 20th with a relaxed theater environment. Then, get creative at our Vacation Music Jam on April 22nd, designed for ages 5–16 to explore sound, rhythm, and self-expression 🎶🥁 And on the 26th, young adults aged 18+ are invited to dive into the magic of Disney animation while connecting with others in a meaningful and fun way ✨🎨
