The Zones of Regulation is an OT tool used to help children identify their feelings and work towards a more regulated state, or the "green zone" of regulation. During OT this week, Mrs. Kaylee had a kiddo working on three skills at once! By balancing on the swing, he was able to strengthen his core. Copying the drawing on the other side of the room practiced convergence (the ability for the eyes to focus on close objects after looking far away) and fine motor skills.
