This year’s yard sale promises to be the biggest one we’ve ever had! We asked for donations and as always, you all have never let us down! ❤️

As most of you know, at the beginning of this year we rented a home to begin the 2nd Phase of My Father’s House. Our goal is to raise the funds needed to purchase a second home of our own.
All proceeds from this yard sale will go towards that goal.

Please help us get the word out! Tell your family, your friends, your neighbors, your church congregations, your co workers, everyone you know! And even people you don’t know! Share our post on any yard sale site you know.

Nine years ago this past week we closed on the purchase of our Home for the ministry of My Father’s House and because of your prayers, time, generosity, love and belief in what we are doing, this past week WE PAID OFF OUR MORTGAGE!!

This is the 15th year since we began the ministry of My Father’s House and we have witnessed so many miracles in the lives of our ladies and their families. I personally have been so blessed to get to be a part of their lives.

So many of you have sowed into the lives of the women who have come through our doors in to many ways to mention and into the everyday running and success of this ministry and we are so grateful!

We can get so caught up in the day to day issues of the ministry we forget sometimes to take a moment and just say THANK YOU! We wouldn’t be here without you!

As you know in January we rented a home five doors up in order to begin our second phase for the women who completed our program to continue their journey in recovery along with their children. Our new goal is to work towards purchasing a home instead of renting.

God will do it!!

We are so very grateful for your continued prayers and support of this ministry!! We can never say thank you enough❤️

Sara’s graduation celebration!! I was going through my pictures and realized I had never posted Sara’s Certificate and Celebration Event! So many amazing things have happened in this new year and this was one of the best!! Congratulations Sara we are so proud of you!!!

Since the whole house has been sick we had to have Allen a little private birthday party!! Our boy is 5 years old!!! Happy Birthday Allen!!

January 23, 2026 Sara successfully completed the My Father’s House 12 month recovery program!! Watching her grow in her relationship with God and as a woman and mom has been amazing. She will soon be transitioning into our second phase home where her son Allen will be able to live with her. Sara’s journey has just begun! She will receive her Certificate of Completion this Thursday night at Pleasant Groves Celebrate Recovery, 6:45, 1167 Angham Road, Hiram. We hope you all will come out and celebrate with us! Here are some memories of her year with us.

It is our sweet Sara’s birthday!! Today is also the one year anniversary of her coming into the My Father’s House program! She has successfully completed one year and is ready to move to phase 2 with her son Allen. We are so thankful God has provided a second home so we can offer this, we were at capacity. Sara has gotten her learners license and Veronica will be teaching her to drive, (I’m too old for that). Continue to keep Sara and us in your prayers as we move forward in this new journey!!! As for today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARA!!!

Delanea’s wedding was beautiful and so was she. We wish her and Robby many happy years together. And can’t wait to see the ministry God leads them to as a couple. Delanea you will be missed but praying this new journey will be all you dreamed it would be.

Tomorrow is Pleasant Grove’s Celebrate Recovery’s 20th Anniversary Celebration!! Many souls have been saved, lives have been changed, families have been restored and a lot of healing from life’s hurt as been done in these 20 years!
Come join us for Celebrate Recovery Sunday tomorrow, service begins at 10:45, afterwards we will be serving hot dogs with all the fixings and homemade ice cream!! This is a great time for us all to come together and show our support for such an amazing ministry❤️
