Are you stretched to the hilt from one thing to the next? Do you feel stuck, alone, confused with something you haven’t been able to resolve? Is something gnawing at you, uncomfortably keeping you restrained or tense, disconnecting you from how you want to be? If you would like to explore what’s going on in a safe space where your feelings and emotions are welcomed then you may wish to consider Compassionate Inquiry.

“Where you feel tension, give it some attention”
Dr. Gabor Maté encourages in this approach.

“By accessing and releasing the charge of suppressed emotions,
we reinstate the resonance of authenticity in the quality of our experience.”
(Brown, 2010, p. 16)

VIRTUAL COMPASSIONATE INQUIRY SESSIONS with Jill Kelly are available internationally now at calendly.com/jill-ci You will need Zoom (the free option works) on either your computer or mobile device to access virtual appointments. Book an Initial Visit session (60 minutes) for your first Compassionate Inquiry appointment. If you've already had a Compassionate Inquiry session with Jill book the Follow Up Visit (45 minutes). Some clients are good with one session, others will want multiple sessions to address stress, trauma, anxiety, addiction, or other emotional challenges and come closer to their authentic self.
Compassionate Inquiry is an approach developed by Gabor Maté, M.D. on how the relationship of stress and illness, trauma, addiction, and childhood development effect our bodies and our lives. (https://drgabormate.com/topic/compassionate-inquiry/)
Compassionate Inquiry practitioners maintain compassion while helping clients discover the emotions, physical sensations, perceptions, and beliefs underneath the stories we tell ourselves and the way we experience our lives. Safety, trust, compassion, and intense presence are key in allowing ourselves to see the truth. Each session is unique according to the client’s intention and may go deep while uncovering at times strong emotions which are welcomed and attuned to for their value and purpose all at the client’s consented pace.
Jill completed the year-long Compassionate Inquiry Professional program with Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur, ND and is currently finalizing her intensive extended studies in the CI Mentorship program.

"You really made a difference in my life by allowing me to process some deep residual pain and sadness. The session with you was incredible Jill." (from Jill's previous CI client)

Verb
stop and smell the roses

(idiomatic) To relax; to take time out of one's busy schedule to enjoy or appreciate the beauty of life. https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/stop_and_smell_the_roses So important to remember and implement enjoying and appreciating the ‘beauty of life’ with the new normal. See it, feel it, hear it, taste it, smell it, know it. Beauty remains in so many ways. Some schedules amplified, some deflated, yet few schedules remained the same as we’ve all adjusted to the effects of SARS-CoV-2. Self-care and mindfully navigating our daily experiences bring healing moments that matter to us and those around us. So plan to relax when you can...even if it’s just a moment. @ Acupuncture Center
