Know the Signs of Heatstroke 🚨
As temperatures rise, so does the risk of heat-related illness. Heatstroke is a serious medical emergency that can affect anyone spending time outdoors — especially children, older adults, and outdoor workers.
Watch for these symptoms:
Headache, dizziness, or confusion
Skin that is hot, red, and dry (or profusely sweating)
Rapid heartbeat
Nausea or vomiting
Loss of consciousness
If you or someone around you shows signs of heatstroke, seek medical attention immediately. Move to a cooler place, use cold compresses, and avoid giving anything to drink if the person is not fully alert.
