Starting October 1st, 2025, there will be a $15 price increase for all massage services and body waxing services.

As a small business, these decisions are never easy, but necessary to continue providing the quality care, comfort, and experience you deserve. This adjustment helps us keep up with rising operational costs while still delivering the relaxing and rejuvenating services you’ve come to expect from us.

💛 Let’s Bless Danette Through This Storm 💛

We’re reaching out today on behalf of someone who means a lot to us — Danette, one of our loyal clients who we proudly call family here at Heavenly Handz Day Spa

Some of you know Danette as the hard-working, kind-hearted waitress at The Portage Pancake House. She always shows up for everyone else — now it’s our turn to show up for her.

A few months ago, Danette was diagnosed with kidney cancer, and doctors removed her kidney. Just as she was preparing for chemo as a precautionary, Dr. ran more tests and she has bladder cancer now.

Danette hasn’t been able to work in over 2 months, and as a waitress, that means no steady income. Bills are piling up, and times are truly difficult.

Just a courtesy reminder for any of our clients that may be affected with this closure.

ROAD CLOSURE - State Road 51/State Road 130/Hobart Rd in Lake County

During these closures, INDOT contractors will also be making repairs at the State Road 130/State Road 51/Hobart Rd and State Road 51/Cleveland Ave roundabout. This will result in the closure of the northwestern portion of the roundabout. Traffic will not be able to exit north or west from the roundabout.

ROAD CLOSURE - State Road 51/State Road 130/Hobart Rd in Lake County

State Road 51/State Road 130/Hobart Rd will be closed between State Road 51/Cleveland Ave and Hickey St on or after Monday, April 14 through early August. The official detour will follow U.S. 6 and State Road 149 or I-94, I-65 and U.S. 30.

The road will first be closed through early May for NIPSCO gas line relocation work. Once complete, INDOT contractors will have the road closed for a culvert replacement at Frog Creek.

During these closures, INDOT contractors will also be making repairs at the State Road 130/State Road 51/Hobart Rd and State Road 51/Cleveland Ave roundabout. This will result in the closure of the northwestern portion of the roundabout. Traffic will not be able to exit north or west from the roundabout.
