It’s a time to celebrate healthy, confident smiles — and to raise awareness about the importance of good oral health for patients in orthodontic care.

This month we celebrate the science of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics — the specialty focused on guiding facial and jaw growth to achieve a healthy, functional, and confident smile.

As the .info explains, “Orthodontists are also dentofacial orthopedists. Dentofacial orthopedics focuses on how the bones and tissues of the face work together, and how they impact function and appearance.”
