As the seasons change, so can our mood. Shorter days and less sunlight can impact energy, motivation, and overall wellbeing. Coping with seasonal blues starts with awareness — then small, consistent care: movement, connection, and light.💡💜

Reminder: In therapy (and in life), multiple truths can exist at once.

You can be proud of your progress and still wish you were further along.
You can love someone deeply and feel hurt by them.
You can feel grateful and still be struggling.

Holding space for both/and instead of either/or builds emotional flexibility — a key part of healing and growth. 💜

Emotional maturity isn’t about suppressing emotions — it’s about understanding, managing, and responding to them in healthy ways.

Emotional maturity is a skill — not a personality trait. The more you practice self-awareness, empathy, and regulation, the more grounded and connected your relationships (and your inner world) become.💜

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 💜

1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men experience domestic violence in their lifetime, yet many suffer in silence. Abuse isn’t always physical—it can also be emotional, financial, or psychological.

Awareness is the first step toward change. Together, we can break the stigma, support survivors, and work toward safe, healthy relationships for all.

👉 Know the signs.
👉 Offer support without judgment.
👉 Share resources.

If you or someone you know is in danger, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 or text “START” to 88788.

At CSP, we strive to cultivate a safe space for all clients to share their stories💜🌸

Mindful movement isn’t about being the fastest or the strongest - it’s about helping kids notice how their bodies feel, connect with their breath, and move with joy. 🤸‍♂️🧘‍♂️🏀🩰

When children learn to move mindfully, they build body awareness, emotional regulation, and self confidence that supports them on and off the playground. 💜

Rest is not lazy - it is actually quite essential to our health and wellness.
Rest can look like:
🌸 rediscovering what fills your cup - creativity, joy, safety
🌸 unlearning people pleasing and perfectionism
🌸 honoring your feelings and listening to what your body needs
🌸 practicing small somatic tools daily and consistently

What does rest look like to you?

Instead of the usual “How was your day?” try asking your child questions that spark real conversation and connection. 💬💡These kinds of questions help kids reflect, build emotional awareness, and feel heard.
