When back pain eases up after a few visits, it’s tempting to stop. We understand that. Life gets busy, and feeling better feels like the finish line. But research consistently shows that patients who complete a fuller course of chiropractic care experience significantly better outcomes than those who stop early.
A large clinical trial recently compared patients who received a brief course of care with those who received a more complete set of visits over ten weeks. Those in the “higher-dose” group reported greater improvements in physical function and pain reduction. Rather than just short-term relief, they noticed meaningful changes in how well they were able to move and live.
Think of it the way you’d think about a course of physical therapy or rehabilitation. The early visits reduce the acute problem. The later visits build on that progress, reinforce the changes, and help prevent the issue from returning. We’re happy to talk through what a complete care plan looks like for you.
