I will help you understand how to live again. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 20 years. I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from LaSalle University where I graduated with honors. I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, and specialized in Children and Families. I trained under the world-renowned Dr. Alice Domar at the Domar Center for Mind-Body Health in utilizing mind-body techniques to enhance general well-being and fertility. I spent numerous years working in the adoption field conducting home-studies and post-placement visits for both international and domestic adoption prior to starting a private practice 16 years ago to concentrate on women's issues. My career has been dedicated to helping individuals and couples choose how to build their family, and I feel strongly that everyone who wants to be a parent will somehow, someday, become a parent. Working in the adoption and infertility fields has proven to me that there are different paths that lead to parenting. I have a special interest in working with 2nd and 3rd trimester losses, and I am honored to be widely known as the “go to” therapist for both pregnancy and infant loss. My professional affiliations include the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s Mental Health Professional Group, and the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of Resolve. I was appointed to the State of Delaware’s Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Team for two years and then earned the prestigious title of "Top 10 Therapists in Delaware" from www.healthgrades.com. I attribute the success of my private practice to my own personal struggles with infertility and loss.
