My practice is solely focused on reproductive health - infertility, complicated pregnancy and baby loss. So my patients have already been through so much when they arrive at my doorstep. Inevitably, patients want a real answer about which doctor to choose once they do get pregnant again after infertility and/or loss. While this might not be the best business move, I feel patients deserve to know who I have grown to trust over 2.5 decades in this field. One of my favorites is downstate, practicing at the beach and Middletown. This year, Dr. Michelle Cooper from Dedicated to Women OBGYN earned a “Top Doc” award. She might have a daunting waiting list, but there is a reason for that wait. Dr. Cooper is a brilliant OBGYN who is also certified in Integrative Medicine. ✅

Making a commitment to serve on the Board of Directors at Julia’s Light Foundation was an easy decision for me. I am surrounded by a group of brilliant women who share my passion for serving bereaved parents in NCC and Southeastern PA. We are always looking for both men and women to join the committees that we are currently creating and we would love to partner with local non-profits and medical providers who treat and support women who are pregnant and postpartum.

I would like to thank Julia’s Light Board of Directors for their commitment and dedication to our initiatives and goals. They all worked hard to ensure the Wave of Light was a beautiful night for the families in our community. This is one amazingly talented and special group of women! Thank you!

I woke up this morning to a text from a former patient who saw her son in the clouds. I went outside to see a breathtaking sight of pinks & blues. It was a sign that our babies are with us.

While we honor Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month for the entire month of October, today marks the most sacred day. At 7pm tonight, parents, grandparents, siblings and our friends will be lighting candles to make one continuous Wave of Light around the world. We connect to honor all of the babies that left this earth too soon.

Tonight, I am honored to be the presenter in Delaware, sponsored by Julia’s Light Foundation to share my personal testimony as a mother of an Angel Baby, but I will also be sharing some of the most important lessons I have learned as the first provider in the state of DE to focus on treating women & couples who have experienced Pregnancy and Infant Loss.

Today, I honor you and your babies. After 20 years of counseling, my heart still aches as I help you navigate the most difficult journey of your life. Please join me at 7pm tonight and leave your baby’s name here, along with a picture of your candle or a video of your candle burning.

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. Contrary to the Cape Gazette’s erroneous reporting, The Delaware Chapter of the TEARS Foundation hosts the annual family friendly Rock & Walk to help DE families who have experienced Pregnancy or Infant Loss. The Rock & Walk is a wonderful event that raises money to help DE families with funeral costs for those who have experienced perinatal loss. We would love for you to join us!

I am thrilled to report that a miracle has happened to me personally! Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I have not only survived, but I am stronger than ever. I see women and couples who are struggling with reproductive health issues including infertility, high risk pregnancies, and recurrent pregnancy & baby loss. I have over 20 years of experience helping people navigate their most difficult journeys, and I am proud and humbled by the many referrals I receive from my former clients. October 15th holds a special place in my heart. I lit a candle at 7pm tonight, joining mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and all of the people who support us, as we created an international wave of light. Our candles mark our unity and grief as we honor all of our babies that were taken too soon.
October marks Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month and today is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
