Being a doula is full of so many emotions, caring gestures, normalizing experiences, a mentally and physically carrying.

Being the person to help you through your birth journey is THE MOST REWARDING gift I never expected to receive on repeat. I absolutely am in love with my work.

Helping clients feel cared for, loved on, and safe is the utmost importance in the support any client will feel alongside of me.

Do you want all the options, do you want to know when to slow down or breathe a different way, do you want to know what position may help your labor grow and progress into the next stage. That’s what support I love providing.

It’s been a busy week of appointments but feeling the love and joy visiting with families that had their baby, and preparing with families on the babies to come. Such a transformative time to connect and grow together.

It is always so rewarding to support a VBAC client. This year we have more than we typically do and supporting them to that accomplishment is really what doula work is all about. Education, empowerment, and normalizing physiological birth.

PRENATALS🫶🫶🫶

One of our favorite ways to support families is through prenatals! We spend at least an hour and half at each session with families. We cover all your questions, coping strategies, birth preferences; and get to spend time with you at home.

Amber and I are all about personalized care, we want to know all about who you are as a person, plus see your space.

Sometimes you have to get upside down in the middle of labor. If labor isn’t going as expected, it’s helpful to get out of your comfort zone and think outside of the box. Getting in a position you wouldn’t think about, move your body, lay down, do something different.

In this birth, I helped my client get into a forward leaning inversion, we needed to give that baby space to move and reposition. This client was SO STRONG! To be upside-down in labor during contractions is no small feat. She is amazing!

SAFE. LOVED. CARED FOR.

As a doula duo and I are very intentional about supporting our clients. We spend ample time in consultations ensuring they know who we are and provide unlimited ways to connect with us prenatally. That being said this week we have consultations for folks with August and September due dates. We love having ample time getting to know our clients to ensure they feel loved, cared for, and safe in their labor experience.

February and March are also booked.

Better late than never!

The beginning of 2025 was a busy one for me with sickness and family emergency so I’m just now getting to posting my 2024 stats.

On reflection, 2024 was an amazing year. I love seeing the growth in my clients and the success in their birth experiences.

I love what 2024 brought to the practice, the partnership with , the amazing success rate of unplanned c-section 6.5% and the unwavering joy I live in pursuing this dream career.

Everyday I feel blessed to be involved in the lives of those who so graciously invite us into their sacred birth space.

So special to spend my new year with the person I talk to nearly every day, changed my life for the good in 2024 and I can’t wait to see what is in store in 2025 with our partnership 🫶💕

2 babies this week both ringing in the new year early as they were both due in January! Love this doula life 🫶

Also a nice call out to my partner for a beautiful switch today to help a VBAC client have an unmedicated birth, I’m so glad I get to doula alongside of you 💕
