Day 15 Evening Wind-Down

Start with cat camel. Slow breath in as you arch. Slow breath out as you round. Do that five times.

Child’s pose next. Arms extended. Eyes closed. Just breathe.

Now on your back — arms extended overhead. Eyes closed. Full inhale. Full exhale. Let everything release.
Finish with lower back rotations. Knees bent. Side to side. Nice and slow. Let the spine decompress.

Five minutes. That’s all it takes to tell your nervous system the day is over.

You don’t sleep badly because you’re stressed.

Most of the time you sleep badly because your body can’t get comfortable enough to stay there.

The pain wakes you up. The tension keeps you from settling. You shift positions all night trying to find something that works. And when you finally wake up you’re more tired than when you went to bed.

Then the next day everything hurts more. Because it does. Sleep deprivation directly increases pain sensitivity. So the cycle tightens.

Most people treat the sleep and ignore the structure. Melatonin. White noise. No screens before bed. All useful. None of them address why the body can’t relax in the first place.

Your pillow and mattress matter more than most people realize. Your spine should be in a neutral position for the entire night. If it isn’t, your muscles are working while you’re supposed to be recovering.

Fix the structure. Fix the sleep. Fix the structure more because the sleep is finally working.

That’s the cycle going the other direction.
