— October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month —

As EMS providers, we see firsthand the impact cancer can have on patients, families, and our community. Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women during their lifetime—and early detection can save lives.

This month, we stand with survivors, honor those we have lost, and support the ongoing fight for a cure. 💕 We encourage everyone to take time for regular screenings, self-checks, and preventative care.

Let’s work together to spread awareness, show compassion, and remind one another: no one fights alone. 💪💗

Great teamwork!

On September 11, 2001, our nation endured a tragedy that claimed nearly 3,000 innocent lives. Among them were mothers, fathers, children, friends, and colleagues whose absence is still felt deeply today. We also remember with reverence the 412 first responders — firefighters, emts/paramedics, police officers — who gave their lives in the line of duty, running toward danger with courage and selflessness. Their sacrifice embodies the highest calling of service.

In the years that followed, countless men and women in our military answered the call to defend freedom and protect our nation. Many gave their lives in that service, and many more continue to stand guard today. As we honor the memory of those we lost on 9/11, we also recognize the bravery of those who have carried that fight forward.

We will never forget the fallen, the heroes who served, and the resilience that binds us together as Americans. 🇺🇸
