🕊️ Lifetime Achievement Award – Kevin Moriarty
Today we celebrate a remarkable career in senior care leadership.
Holdrege Memorial Homes proudly congratulates Administrator Kevin Moriarty on receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from LeadingAge Nebraska.
This recognition honors Kevin’s more than 35 years of dedication to long-term care and his lasting impact on the residents, families, staff, and communities he has served.
Kevin began his career in long-term care as Administrator of Aftenro Home in Duluth, Minnesota before returning to Nebraska to serve as Administrator of St. Luke’s Good Samaritan Village in Kearney. In 2001, he joined Holdrege Memorial Homes, where he has spent the past 25 years guiding the organization with steady leadership and a commitment to compassionate care.
Throughout his career, Kevin has also worked to strengthen the profession itself. He has served as a preceptor and mentor to fifteen nursing home administrators, helping guide the next generation of leaders. He spent ten years on the Nebraska Board of Nursing Home Administration, contributing to professional standards and licensure across the state.
Kevin has also held leadership roles with LeadingAge Nebraska and the Nebraska Health Care Association, including serving as President of LeadingAge Nebraska, helping support advocacy and quality care for aging adults throughout the state.
His leadership extends into the community through service with the Holdrege Area Chamber of Commerce and the Holdrege Area Early Childhood Partnership Inc., reflecting his belief that strong communities require investment across every generation.
When Kevin reflects on his career, he often speaks most about the residents whose lives and stories have shaped his perspective.
His career reflects the mission that guides Holdrege Memorial Homes each day:
Caring for the Ones Who Cared for Us.
Congratulations, Kevin, on this well-deserved recognition.
