Happy Motivation Monday!

What are your favorite practices to stay mindful? What keeps you present?

Since we are in Cancer a water sign. I am being called to move my body more and be fluid and more communicative in my relationships.

I am working on being mindful of how I show up, in my tone and inflection of my voice. One way of doing this is visualizing moving energy to my throat chakra. 💙💙

Another way of honoring water is:

Sit in a comfortable position

Take 3 nice deep letting go breaths

Inhale: reach your heart forward, lift the chin slightly up to extend the stretch to the throat (think a seated bitilasana-cow pose)

Exhale: reach stomach to spine, round through the shoulders, drop the chin towards the chest to stretch the back of the throat (think a seated mjaryasana-cat pose)

Come back to center

Make noise- chant, hum, tone, or sing

Listen to your body and move from intuition, begin small and grow from there, this may evolve into an ecstatic dance

Come back to a resting pose

Take 3 deep grounding breaths

Feel grateful for honoring your body

Bow to your practice

Enjoy the fluidity of every moment!
