A young man in Palm Harbor is requesting personal support to help him become more independent. His primary interest is to learn more computer skills, but he’d also like assistance scheduling and getting to some of his doctor appointments. My client is chatty, and can quickly switch subjects to the past, or to inappropriate subjects. He needs someone patient yet stern to keep him in present, on topic. He wants to start with one day a week but could progress to more with the right person. He is high functioning and prefers to say he is looking for a ‘life coach’ to teach him skills to be more independent. His preference is Caucasian, male or female.

I am reaching out to find a female only personal support staff that can work with my 23 year old consumer, Marina, for 10 hours a day M-F and 6 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday. She lives at home with her mother in St. Pete (33713) area code. She is seeking hours Monday through Friday from 7am-9am (she attends ADT 5 days a week from 9-3) 3pm-11pm and Saturday's from 12pm-6pm (hours can vary). Marina needs supervision at all times for her safety at home or in the community. Mom would like to have staff take Marina out in the community, to the park, on walks. etc. She also needs full assistance at home with completing chores, hygiene, and toileting. Marina requires assistance with her hygiene. She is able to use the restroom on her own, but needs assistance with wiping properly and ensuring she washes her hands. Mom would need personal support to assist with dinner and to help Marina get ready for bed. Marina is very sweet and does not have any negative behaviors. NEW CASE ALERT

Amanda lives with her parents in Dunedin and requires assistance with total care needs. Her mom is able to train new staff on all aspects of Amanda’s care. Amanda has separate living area attached to the main home so she can have her own personal space. Amanda loves coffee and drinks it every morning. She enjoys theater group and being in the community. Amanda has 2 personal support staff now but is looking for staff to assist Saturdays from 9am to 6pm and coverage for parents out of town trip from 10/26 to 11/3. Personal Support Needed St.Petersburg

Hello,

I have a young woman in need of personal supports, she is very friendly and spends a majority of the time in the family home- listening to music, playing on iPad, prepping meals, and help with toileting. She enjoys spending time with people that are closer to her age, we are looking for a staff that is preferably 20s-40s and is able to work Monday- Friday 10am-3pm in the St Pete area. The consumer lives with her dad and he is interested in doing interviews in the next week.
