Coming Back to Yourself After Burnout 🤍
Burnout doesn’t always announce itself loudly. Sometimes it shows up as feeling flat, disconnected, or constantly tired - even when life looks “manageable” on paper.
Burnout is often less about doing too much and more about being in a state of output for too long without enough recovery built in. When the nervous system stays in that mode, it prioritizes getting through the day over restoring what’s been depleted.
Recovery doesn’t happen all at once. It happens in layers - as the body relearns how to downshift, receive, and repair.
Here are a few ways to support that process:
🌤️ Reduce input before adding effort - Instead of pushing yourself to do more “self-care,” start by creating small pockets of quiet - fewer notifications, slower mornings, or intentional breaks from constant stimulation.
🕰️ Support your body’s basic rhythms - Regular meals, consistent sleep and wake times, and gentle movement help the nervous system feel predictable and safe enough to reset.
🧘🏻‍♀️ Choose movement that feels grounding, not demanding - Walking, stretching, or slow strength work can help reconnect you to your body without asking it to perform.

When you’re caring for a family, it’s easy to put yourself last. Not intentionally - it just happens. There’s always someone who needs something, somewhere to be, or something that feels more urgent. But, the way you feel in your body has a bigger impact on your family than most people realize.
When your nervous system is supported, everyday moments tend to feel different:
You have more patience at the end of the day, even when things don’t go as planned.
It’s easier to stay present instead of feeling mentally pulled in a dozen directions.
Small stressors don’t escalate as quickly, because your body isn’t already running on empty.
Connection feels more natural - conversations flow, listening feels easier, and home feels calmer.
Kids and partners are incredibly sensitive to this. They respond to your tone, your pace, and your presence just as much as your words. When your body feels steadier, that sense of calm often carries into the entire household.

What We Tell Moms Whose Kids Struggle With…🤍
• Big emotions that seem to come out of nowhere
• Trouble winding down at night
• Getting sick more often than you’d expect
• Difficulty focusing or staying regulated during the day
• Transitions that feel harder than they “should”
When these patterns show up, it’s easy to start questioning everything - routines, boundaries, schedules, even yourself.

Breastfeeding is a beautiful and natural process…but that doesn’t always mean easy. For many moms and babies, it’s a learning process - one that involves positioning, comfort, coordination, and a lot of communication between two nervous systems that are still getting to know each other. 🤱🏻
When things feel challenging, it’s rarely just one factor. Breastfeeding relies on how well both mom’s and baby’s bodies can move, relax, and adapt.
Here’s where chiropractic support can play a role:
🤍 For Baby
Feeding requires coordinated movement of the jaw, neck, tongue, and shoulders. Tension or imbalance - whether from birth, positioning, or early adaptation - can make latching, staying latched, or feeding comfortably feel harder than expected.
🤍 For Mom
