Dear all, these are unprecedented times.
We plan to continue business as usual and provide hormone replacement, mental health, preventive care, and gynecological care to our LGBTQ community.
Unfortunately, many patients don't pay their bills after receiving our care.
This makes it difficult to keep going and we may have to increase our prices or switch to a cash pay/direct pay model.
We are still one of the cheapest clinics in Utah.
Please pay us, so we can stay in business; 80% of our patients are gender expansive and many depend on us for their care.

Since the election last week many of you have been worried about your/our future in the USA as far as access to gender-affirming hormones, contraception, fertility pills, etc.
Please know we love all of you, we have your back and will continue to support you in any way possible.

Our self-pay prices are much lower than at many other clinics, and we accept many insurances but not all (check with your insurance first).

We are unable to order a year's supply or more of hormones for you as we have to regularly check your labs and check in on your well-being (this is insurance and state/federally mandated and we have to keep Dr. L's license safe).

Here's a great article on feeling comfortable during your period; orgasm(s) can help with cramps, and so can massage, heat, and touch (for some). Foria has CBD-infused products including an arousal oil that has worked great for many of our patients. They also have products for people with chronic pelvic pain and ge***al pain and plan on reintroducing THC-infused products once Cannabis becomes a class III controlled substance. People of all ages come to see us for hormone therapy; including to discuss (peri)perimenopausal hormone therapy options. There are many options when you are assigned female at birth and struggle with fatigue, brain fog, a decrease in s*x drive, working memory, anxiety, and dryness which can start in your early forties; and for some during or right after your postpartum period if you had babies in your late thirties or in your forties. Make an appointment if this is you or your partner(s).

They could benefit from a diversity of hormones, empathy about their experience, and a frank approach to s*xuality—all hallmarks of trans health care.

Since 90% of our patients are gender-expansive, we see a large amount of patients who are neurodivergent as well. ADHD is common, and so is autism, besides sensory processing differences and other conditions. We treat ADHD if you have a diagnosis from your therapist or have been on medications previously.

April is Autism Awareness Month. Many transgender and gender-expansive people are autistic. You can diagnose yourself or seek a professional diagnosis. Be aware this can still have implications; in some countries, ADHD and autism can impact your ability to obtain a driver's license, you can get a DUI if you are NOT appropriately medicated for ADHD in some states in Canada, and you can't become a citizen of Spain if you have an autism diagnosis. ADHD and autism often go together.
