We don’t talk about this enough…
Maybe loving your body isn’t the goal.
Because if we’re honest?
That can feel like just another standard we’re supposed to meet.
For years it was:
Hate your body. Fix your body. Shrink your body.
And then it became:
Love your body. Celebrate your body. Feel amazing in your body… all the time.
And that pressure?
It didn’t disappear.
It just changed shape.
What if there’s another way?
What if body acceptance isn’t about loving every inch…
but about stepping out of the constant evaluation altogether?
Because here’s the truth—
Our version of ourselves is not what other people see.
Our bodies?
They’re just bodies.
Different shapes. Different seasons. Different stories.
And there’s something kind of freeing about this stage of life…
Where we’re finally doing things we never let ourselves do before.
Wearing the two-piece.
Letting things be softer.
Not apologizing for how we take up space.
Not because we suddenly love everything we see—
But because we’ve decided it doesn’t get to control us anymore.
That’s the shift.
From obsession → to peace.
From criticism → to neutrality.
From performance → to respect.
What if your body isn’t something to love or hate…
but something to live in?
A little quieter.
