Are you curious about yoga but don't know where to start? Check out Amy's upcoming Beginner's Yoga series...
This series is designed to introduce you to the practice of yoga. We will explore the physical postures as well as learn about the importance of focusing on our breath and bringing awareness to the mind-body connection. We will also discuss some of the history and philosophy of the practice over the course of the six weeks.
The series will cover alignment of commonly used postures and optional variations as well as the use of props. You will get to know all the props available and learn to use them in a way that supports you best.
This series is intended to support folks brand new to yoga but it is also acceptable for folks who have had a regular practice and just want to hear the basics over again.
These classes take place on Tuesdays at 6:00-7:00PM September 30-November 4.
