Inversions are for everyone! BUT not every inversion is for everybody. Just like so many of the yoga poses we explore in our practice there is always more than one way to do a pose and the same is true of inversions.

We want to get you in over your head… without “getting you in over your head”

This workshop is designed to introduce you to a number of postures that fit in the category of inversion and then find the one that serves you and your current practice best. The inversions we explore will depend on each attendees individual needs. There will be a number of variations and propping demonstrated as well as multiple modifications and drills to use to refine your inversion.

This 75 minute workshop is great for anyone looking to explore inversions and / or work on core strength.

Nicole Bernard is a Licensed Massage Therapist with more than 15 years of experience helping clients relax, heal, and restore balance through therapeutic bodywork. Since beginning her massage career in 2010, Nicole has worked in chiropractic, clinical, and wellness settings, developing a deep understanding of how to support the body’s natural healing process.

Her approach is both intuitive and evidence-based, combining a variety of techniques to create customized treatments for each client’s needs. Nicole’s specialties include Deep Tissue and Sports Massage, Prenatal and Postnatal Massage, TMJ Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Pain Management.

As an NCBTMB Certified therapist, Nicole is dedicated to professionalism, ongoing education, and compassionate client care. Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic tension, recovering from an injury, or simply in need of relaxation, Nicole provides a safe, supportive space for your healing journey.

When she’s not in the treatment room, Nicole enjoys spending time in nature, practicing mindfulness, and continuing to explore new modalities in bodywork and wellness.

Sound healing is the therapeutic use of sound to promote healing and growth within the body, mind, and soul. In this group session, the sound practitioner intentionally crafts a deeply relaxing sound experience using instruments such as singing bowls, drums, gongs, chimes, and the voice as well as incorporating focused breathing and guided visualization to support the participant in letting go of mental chatter and connecting to the quiet awareness within. It is an invitation to pause, to hush the rush and be present in a full-being experience that promotes and stimulates healing from within. Participants are able to access meditative states through this deep listening and breathing and will experience some profound perspective shifts along with a constellation of other benefits.

We have yoga mats, blankets and eye pillows available but feel free to bring your own pillow and water. Wear comfy clothes.
