It’s that time of year again! As the days get shorter, many dogs—especially double-coated breeds—start shedding their lighter summer coats to grow a thicker, warmer winter coat. This natural process usually runs from September through November.

🎆 Fourth of July Reminder for Pet Owners 🐶🐱

While fireworks are a fun part of celebrating Independence Day for us, they can be terrifying for our furry friends. Loud noises and bright flashes can cause pets to panic and even run away in fear.

❤️ Here are a few simple ways to help keep your pets safe and calm:
• 🏠 Keep them indoors during fireworks, ideally in a quiet, secure room.
• 🐕 Give them plenty of exercise earlier in the day to help reduce anxiety.
• 🎶 Consider playing calming music or white noise to help mask the sound of fireworks.
• 🆔 Make sure they’re wearing updated ID tags or are microchipped, just in case.
