At HoomHouse, our BCBA supervision relationships are built to thrive remotely. Every now and then, the opportunity comes to connect in person, and it’s something special.
Recently, one of our remote BCBA supervisors, Kathy, was traveling and stopped by GET Cafe, a non-profit dedicated to facilitating the social inclusion of neurodivergent individuals and individuals with disabilities in a welcoming community setting.
While there, Kathy met her BCBA trainee, Kristen, in person for the first time at Kristen’s workplace and got to see the meaningful work she’s doing every day. From brewing coffee to creating a space where everyone belongs, the team at GET Cafe is a beautiful example of inclusion in action. Here’s to connections—no matter the distance—that make a real impact. 💛
