The FreedomWand uses a slide bar instead of a traditional locking mechanism, requiring minimal hand strength. It can be operated using a countertop, finger, or arm, and also braced under the armpit or between the legs for added control. The four grippers hold items securely in place when the size and positioning are correct.

When set up properly, the grippers hold firmly and release with minimal effort. If the item is too large or not the correct dimensions, it won’t hold in place or function as intended.
