If you have limited grip strength or are missing a limb, here are a few ways to make using the FreedomWand even easier!

We have a neoprene washable strap that can be added to the handle to give you extra leverage not to drop it.

You can use the side of your finger, a countertop, or even your wheelchair to move the slide bar if gripping and strength is compromised. When loading toilet paper, pinch the four grippers together and push it all the way in, or if you’re missing a limb, you can hold it steady under your arm so your hand is free to load it. Ever wonder how to load the FreedomWand so it holds the items tightly while using? Let us show you!

Its four-prong grippers are like your fingertips and makes it simple and easy. Open the grippers, place your item DEEP inside (toilet paper, razor, sponge, or loofah with knots tied into the rope), then push the slide bar back down and/or pinch the prongs around the item and push them in until grippers are all the way into the FreedomWand. The diameter of the item being "pulled/pushed" into the FreedomWand creates the tension that holds the items in while using. That’s all it takes to maintain your independence in your daily routine.
