Veronica found such a fun craft for us to do! If there’s one thing the birds around Appledorn love to do, it’s eat! We made these super cute popsicle stick bird feeders!

It's Rose's 10 year anniversary with us today!! We are so grateful for her 10 years of service, baking up delicious cookies and grilling amazing food during the summer months! Residents and staff love Rose because of how attentive she is, going out of her way to make sure each resident gets what they need. We also love when she brings in her foster puppies from Harbor Humane for a visit! Rose has a heart of gold and we are lucky to have her! Thank you, Rose!

This year at Appledorn North, we are proud to give back to our community! Our charity pick for January and February will be Lifeline Ministries. We will be collecting quarter donations in a jar at the front desk and all quarters from the quarter machine up front will also be contributed to this cause during this time! It looks like the residents at our sister house in Hudsonville were on the nice list! They got a visit from Santa!

The USMC picked up our box today! And we beat our number from last year of 28 by collecting 40 toys this year! Thank you to all who dropped off toys to make this Christmas special for the kids in our community!

Our Toys for Tots box is overflowing!! Thank you to everyone who has brought in toys! There’s a couple more days left to drop off a gift! Happy Holidays!!
