Blue is the sweetest dog! He is a 13 year old Pitbull mix whose family lost their home and had to surrender him. We are honored and humbled to host the American Tinnitus Association's "Founder's Totem" that was hand-carved by ATA founder Dr. Jack Vernon. A scientist, clinician, and artist, Dr. Vernon devoted his career to understanding and alleviating tinnitus - introducing the concept of tinnitus masking and shaping decades of research and patient care.

In retirement, he turned to carving what he called “totems,” abstract wooden sculptures symbolizing the ascent from confusion toward clarity. Symbols of hope, perseverance, and the ongoing pursuit of relief for all who live with tinnitus.
